Veda Hale
Veda Tebbs Hale is from Panguitch, Utah. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 1957. She has written four novels, (unpublished). One short story appeared in The New Era in 1982 and several stories came out later in Exponent II. In 1990 she moved to St. George, Utah from Kamas, Utah and subsequently took on the challenge of writing Maurine Whipple's biography. She first had to organize Maurine's papers, which had been given to BYU in a very cluttered condition. That biography and the unpublished works found in the papers are now (1995) awaiting editing by Lavina Fielding Anderson.
