Douglas D. Alder
Douglas D. Alder has lived a Utah life, spending one-quarter century in Salt Lake City, another quarter century on the northern border in Logan, Utah as a professor of history at Utah State University and then a nearly a quarter century on the southern border in St. George as president of Dixie College and continuing as a professor of history.

He and his wife, Elaine, and their children have also lived in Oregon, Indiana and Europe. [publisher website]
