Career Neil Aitken spent four-and-half years as a computer games programmer in Los Angeles prior to leaving the computer industry to pursue his MFA in Creative Writing. He has been active and notable presence in the southern California
poetry scene, both as a featured poet and as a casual reader at open mics. His poetry has been published both in print and online in such periodicals as:
Beyond the Valley of Contemporay Poets 2004, Prairie Poetry, Poetic Diversity, Inscape, and Anagram. He expects to complete his MFA in June 2006.
