Genre History
Beginning in the 1990s LDS publishers began to publish CD-ROM compilations that included a vast number of LDS-related titles, many of which had been out of print for a long period. These remain important resources for preserving and finding full-text versions of many Mormon periodicals and studies of Mormon history, religion, and culture.

From about the same time many Mormon literary based websites and online resources for Mormon studies started to appear. Most of these are informal collections of links, images, and texts. However, as patterns of online communication and publishing have begun to stabilize in the 21st century, there are an increasing number of quality online resources for Mormon studies generally and for Mormon literary studies in particular.
Bibliography
Especially helpful in this regard is LauraMaery Gold's Mormons on the Internet, which goes well beyond literary concerns to catalogue and describe all LDS-related internet sites.
