Summary:
Solo is a drama for a small town, with conflicts that normal families face. It is based on a true story. The LDS pilot, Liz Brantley, is completing a three-legged flight that will give her a pilot's license. The plane crashes in the rugged Colorado terrain. For five days Liz's fate is unknown to her family. It is her children's unswerving conviction that their mother is still alive that turns their coldly reasoning father into a tenacious believer in faith. He becomes physically and emotionally closer to his children as they deal with the crisis.

Annotations:
Includes an unidentified LDS church service and the hymn "I Am a Child of God."
